The control unit and ecu are located in the passenger footwell. Pull the carpet back and you'll see the bracket that hold them. There are four nuts that hold the bracket to the car at each corner. After you've removed those. Lift the bracket up, and unplug both the ecu and control unit. After that pull the whole thing out and replace the control unit with the new one.

Did you get my pm? Someone at the dealership said I had to center the steering and a couple other things.

I replied to your initial pm. Did you send something after that? Yea, they should be able to do that for you very easily.

So should I just let honda install the unit or just take it down after I install it?

You should get a service manual. It is all outlined step by step there.

What section of the service manual would it be under. I was looking at spoonhonda.com and there are about 10 sections that take about 10min. to download so I want to make sure I get the right one. thanks

Eventually download all of them. Chapter 15 is the one regarding ATTS.

It won't let me download the file, it gets all the way to the end and then won't let me unzip it. If you could copy and paste it on a post I would appreciate it greatly.

Dude, pull the pass. carpet back and you'll see exactly what you need to do. No part of the helms will spoon feed it.

I realize how to do that part, I'm just wondering about the reset after that. They said at the honda dealership that you had to center the steering and do some other things to reset it in order for it to function properly.

I've sent two emails there with no success. If you have some way other way to get it, let me know.

It was going through this time, but the file size was too large. I just burnt you a copy of the entire Helms manual and put it in the package with the control unit.

Sweet sounds good, I really apprecaite your help. What day did you send the package, and how long did they estimate until I get it?
