How do I know it's functioning properly and will it produce a code upon malfunction?

 

No ATTS light when the car is running= properly functioning.

 

approach a standard 90º left-hand turn at 20mph....then whip the wheel and punch the gas....what happened? if it tried to over-steer and put you into oncoming traffic, it's working fine. If the car understeered, hit the curb, flipped 6 times, and killed the driver, it wasn't working but doesn't matter anymore.

Or you can look to see if your ATTS light is lit (dashboard).

LOL..Humor is good.Go check out the post HEADERS from user mateo801. It was like throwing raw meat in front of 6 Pitbulls infected with rabies. People really get worked up over this sh*t!
