ive searched and found only a few post..i was planning on picking up a h22a longblock from them..their prices are really cheap...and they are the closes place i can find...my backup plan would be venus-auto but they are in sactown...and attarco is in berkeley...anyone have experience from attarco?

No but I have experience with Venus. Very good people to deal with. Very honest. I would highly recomend them

yea..they are kind of far tho...i live in san francisco...and they are all the way in sacramento...but they are my backup source...does anyone know if any of these companies deliver to residential??

I know for sure they will deliver to a local freight terminal for you. Or if you call I am sure they can set up liftgate service, but you pay quite a bit for that.

 

im now confused on where to go to get my longblock...im down to 3 places...attarco in berkeley, venus-auto in sacramento, and hmotorsonline.com..

attarco is in berkeley and i can pick up the longblock just like that and bring it to redzone performance....but ive heard that most of their motors dont come with i,e manifold and most of the sensors...

venus-auto is all the way in sacramento and i dont think the longblock can fit in the trunk of my prelude...but ive heard good things about them...im a little bit skeptical about having them deliver a motor i havent seen yet..

hmotorsonline.com... i would have to have them deliver but like above im a little bit skeptical about delivering...but ive heard alot of good things from them...but their longblocks are about 1200 plus shipping but includes:
- Motor
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Injectors
- Fuel Rail
- Throttle body
- Alternator
- Distributor

i dont know if the other shops include these things...

 

attarco has reasonable prices however, most motors lack IM,dizzy,etc.

 

baught mine at attarco but baught the tranny in venus

 

the attarco here in Modesto a couple of my boys bought some motors off of them and it was all bad bent valves broke valve guides needed new bearings I mean I no it is a used motor but dam talk bout on preventive maintenance

I bought engine from Attarco in San Jose, they sold me shitty engine. I ended up have to spend some more money to fix.
