Lately everyone has been very civil. The flaming has decreased and what do you know, the morale of the forum is rising and you guys are getting better answers to your questions

I've been in a particularly good mood due to the lack of "Y0, wut mod you think I sh00d get next?" questions. Somehow, this forum feels "refreshed" and some new guys actually came up with different questions from the norm.

 

Yeah, I've noticed it. Perhaps member's have matured a bit. HT brings out the worst in everyone -- I think. The same member on another site come here with a completely different attitude. It's rather amusing.

^^Noticed also.. I haven't been on for a few months since I've moved and haven't had time or the ability to work on my car... But it does seem more relaxed here since I've been back for the last few weeks.. There are some repeat questions that do come up which ya can't expect everyone to come on and use the "Search" feature.. But their questions get answered or they're pointed in the right direction at the least.. People still poke some fun and make a few jokes, but nothing that's seriously harmful, and if ya can't laugh at yourself, that's no fun..

Or maybe it's just because it's the off season and the new newbie wave will be coming in the spring.. Heh

Either way, the tornado does r0x0r!

It's so much easier to be nice and answer a repeat question when you're able to read the question and not have to decipher the encryption of everyone's personal language.

i like tech, thats what keeps this forum going.

 

a while ago when i got my car I signed up here.. posted a couple times.. saw the flamage, and never came back.. but recently I've been using this place because of the reasons you guys mentioned-it seems to have improved!... i think honda-tech has that name because the first forum a honda newb may go to is honda-tech.. its popular and covers all models so newbs flock to h-t...

hopefully it will stay this way..

i have 1k and i am wanting to get 750whp...what is the best mod to get? i was thinkin about the ebay turbo kit! is that ok to run with about 17psi and on my daily driver with stock internals? my buddy has it done and its mad fast y0...when v-tech kicks in it goes we we WHEEEEEEEEEEE pstsssss....jdm type y0

a forum is operated by its most active members. If the most active members are out flaming new members and essentially setting a trend to hate on new members, then the new members are bound to do the same things.

Try this for a change. If you are going to tell another member to search, how about providing them with a link to a thread that may help them.....possibly assist them in how to use HT's search function.

besides the little spout with chris (preludfein) I haven't seen too much BS around here thats for sure.

Very nice to see that not all the noobs are complete jackass-morrons! And that us longer term members can be civil when the jackass's come out of the woodwork.
