I haven't been able to find an air diffuser for my Prelude so I'm assuming that no one makes them due to lack of demand. Do diffusers help our at all in the preludes? I made a lil ghetto one out of cardboard to help wit my cooling problem, Has any made one out of sheet metal or somethin similar? If you have does anyone have a write up or am I on my own?
Tunerguy, there was not much a demand or need for a defuser for the lude the undercarriage was designed to optimise airflow under the car (not sure how true this is, i remember reading it in an old road and track issue years back). Looking at the undercarriage of a S2000, STI, and then a Prelude you can validate the truth to that previous comment lol.
Now you said you had a cooling issue, what is going on?

damn you no what I ment to say air divsion panel. The piece that would sit on the grill to divert air directly to the radiator. lol my bad I had the two mixed up.
I had a thread on here a lil while ago, I have an mishimoto radiator, samco hose, vented hood, etc all the parts you can think of that helps a car run cooler. But my car will still heat up when its like 100+ degrees outside and I have the a/c on.
I have a mugen thermo and fan switch coming in and I'm going to do a flush and Like I said I have a cardboard Divisoin panel on right now I just wanted to see if it make a difference on the 5th gen prelude since no one manufactures them. (I'm sure its probabley because the demand is not there).
Does anyone have a DIY on a air division panel for a 5th prelude.(a metal one)

there could be other issues you are having. First off is it over heating when your at a stop while running the ac, or is it over heating when your driving continuously on the freeway. It could be a bad water pump, it could be a bad thermostat, it could be a bad fan switch, it could be improper mix of radiator fluid to water ratio. the cardboard piece might help but wont solve the over heating issue, it sounds like something else is going on.

Ya I hear you, I have low temp thermo coming in and a low temp fan switch. I will flush it and make sure theres a correct ratio. My water pump has only about 35,000 miles I can't see it going bad. The temp goes up when Im at a stop light so I think the ratio might be a big thing so Ill check everything thanks for the input.
But what about the air division panel nothing on DIY for the 5th gens. Is it because it doesn't do much I'm just curious. Because if thats the case Ill just run the cardboard for as long as I can I won't worry about making it permanent till probably next summer.

O and hell ya overheating in sac can be bad, it gets hella hot out here hehe.

Found it. Bottom right of the picture. the hose that says B-17-30 thats the hose that was messing me up. You can find this at any part store or you can hit up Fowler Honda off of Fulton they will price match parts off this site. I used them all the time for parts.
