ABS computer unplugged?
After realizing the previous owner had taken out the ABS light (yes, I found out the hard way in the snow), I checked the code and it threw a 1-2, "Pump motor circuit problem." I searched for other people with the code and they all said their pump had gone bad, and they replaced it. So I left it at that, planning to replace my pump sometime in the near future.
In other news, I ripped out my interior yesterday for some deep cleaning. I find the ABS ecu (why in the world is it located behind the rear passenger panel?), and I see a handful of wires leading up to an orange plug. That orange plug is not plugged into anything. I'm no gearhead, but it seems to me like my ABS computer isn't plugged in, and that there should be a wire leading to it!
My question is: where can I find the wire(s) that leads to my ABS computer? As in, what path would it normally take before reaching the ABS computer? I'd like to see if I can find a section of it further down, see where the rest of it is tucked away, and bring it home.
