I'm planning to buy some lips for my 97 lude and was woundering where i can get some for a good price? or is it better to get a kit??

 

lips and side skirts all the way, go with an SH lip kit if u can find one for cheap,
xenon also makes a decent looking lip kit. I personally hate body kits (and I have on on my CRX)

there is no such thing as SH lips. you can get SH sides & rear. but instead of doing that, just paint the base model's sides/rear, it's the same thing.

there is a JDM type S lip, but good luck finding that.

 

Just get some side skirts and front/rear lips or just paint the base ones like what sticky tires said. Dont get no full body kit, most of them are low quality and are ugly. I think the ugliest **** ever is when you look at a car from the front that has a low quality body kit and when you look closely at the shape of the wheel wells, usually its all retarded cuz the kit's shape looks all deform.

ebay has them all the time, but there like 400 bones.

 

just out of curiosity, if you just painted the stock side skirts do you think it would look same if you were to buy aftermarket side skirts?

It looks better with the whole OEM kit than just the lip itself.

Get a CF type s lip if you want a front lip. its like 180 bucks, and you wont be pissed you killed 400 bucks if it explodes like mine did.

most of the kits that are out there for preludes are just unacceptable and clownish period. the only ones i like is greddy, mugen, oem

Yes they do, but their fitment/quality sucks ***.

member on here by the name of istoreparts.com has CF Type S lips.

I dont know if the pricing has changed i believe it was around 189 bucks.

If you do get an OEM type S lip, watch out on the freeway and chit man. They do explode. Very well i might add.
