95 prelude problems
hi guys am new too this forum but i might be picking up a 95 lude pretty soon so i just wanted too get some info on some of the problems the car has well first off the sunroof does'nt work well the motors turns on and all but i think its stuck on something cause it does'nt pop up wondering if anyone else has had this problem and another thing nothing in the instrument cluster works just wanted too see if someone might be able too troubleshoot that and what motor does that year lude come with cause it has a 99 accord motor in it now well thanks for your guys time

but i would be getting the car for 3g i think it's pretty cheap or do you think it would be too much of a pain too mess with it?

look for something else, dont get desperate. I know you can find something way better than that, there is someone in san diego selling his prelude 1993 for 2,000 dollars...

I was just throwing that out there. Shame on me though, you're right, I didn't contribute anything to the thread.
I would follow what everyone else has said thus far; find a different Prelude to purchase. If you are willing to spend $3000, then you should definitely be buying one that is in full working condition. If the instrument cluster fails to work in its entirety, then I wouldn't trust that car as far as I could throw it. There has obviously been some faulty wiring done, but who knows what else wasn't done correctly?
Bottom Line: Don't waste your time on this one and keep looking.
P.S. If you use proper grammar, punctuation, etc., people are much more inclined to answer your questions

Definately look around. I personally would steer clear of the one you have been looking at. And for the money you have you could find a much better prelude to get a hold of.
