92 si o2 sensor throwing check engine light
K im getting the check engine light. I just went to kragen to get a new o2 sensor (67$ i think), anyway, i ordered it, but now im confused. Is there a o2 sensor in the engine bay or behind the cat? Which would be throwing the check engine light? Also would this be the o2 sensor responsible for lack of acceleration, bad gas mileage etc? Im very confused, thx

92 should have just the one sensor just before the cat.
The code is a code 1, right?
I would think that this could cause the problems you listed, yes. However, there may have been something else that caused your sensor to go bad in the first place.
