On my 1993 Honda Prelude VTEC, the rear wheels do not steer when the car is stationary. There are also no warning lights on the dashboard. That i suspect could be faulty lights on the dash. But any ideas as to what exactly the problem is?

A non-4ws car? Does your VIN say BB1 or BB2? If its BB1 then its not a 4ws model.

 

did they even make a 4ws vtec model in 93?

 

Not a vtec model. The US never had a 4ws vtec model AFAIK. The 4ws model had the H23.

 

92 damn, i got jipped. Oh well less things to go wrong

 

thats what i thought, thats why the Vtec 4ws got me..anyways, sounds like this guy doesnt know very much about his car...oh well at least his only problem now is a 4th gen factory vtec.

 

the japanese models had vtec before 94 though
