Re: 4w
but yes, 4ws means four wheel steering. and if it's a 3g prelude (88-91) it's 100% mechanical, and is extremely awesome. most normal preludes that are 2ws get swapped to 4ws if the owners can afford the parts

Re: 4w
I do - youll get only more troubles with it
no one does that because it only bring troubles so usually people just want to delete 4ws

Re: 4w
name one single person who has ever swapped the 4ws out for a 2ws setup [excluding track-only cars].
I bet you can't answer either. unless you're referring to the super rare 92 and newer 4ws preludes

You must know a **** ton of people! Almost EVERY 4th and 5th Gen with 4ws swap to 2ws. How can you say that with any sort of sense at all? If you have ever driven in, owned, or repaired the 4ws system you would realize it’s no different than diagnosing any subsystem. Anyone who has 4ws would never want to remove it, unless they had an issue, and have no idea how to diagnose electronics.
Having vtec is more problematic than non vtec. Attempting to make more power than stock is problematic. Having people like you spit a bunch of regurgitated internet jargon about anything they don’t have or understand is problematic as well. Nonsense.
My 93 4ws has over 450,000kms on the chassis. Only issue I’ve ever run into regarding inoperative 4ws was both rear speed sensors cracking the magnetic pick up due to rust. Which is an ABS component. Some have had issues with their 4ws ecu and required soldering. Which is an hour job at best. Some say it’s heavier. 80lbs is actually a moot point. That’s like 1/3 your girls weight.
Really all I wanted to say was you’re completely ******* wrong.
