i own a 93 si but i was curious about the difference in the console and dash offered in the 93 year and the 94-96 years. i know that the later years came with cup holders and a more digital gauge cluster. i saw some pictures of the 94-96 consoles and im wondering what the button are between the shifter and the cup holder.

OK, I will start off.. I have a 93 Si with a manual(so u know front part)... I have an armrest WITH cupholders under it. My console doesnt extend past the front seat and has no lock box... I like mine best of them all. Hazard button is round and mirror adjustment is located on the door. The ebrakeis on the right side, so it doesnt get in the way of my stick or look like itd be in the way. This image kinds shows a glimpse of what it looks like so others can differientiate it fomr theirs.. Most people mistake mine for the 94-96 one, but you cna see its not. I know it doesnt show much, but look at what you can... I will post a more recent one later today.


Now, for the dash.. They are all the same... Only difference was the gauges. 94-96 came with electroluminescent gauges.

 

my setup looks the same except i dont have cupholders. did you get an aftermarket cupholder?

 

NOPE... OK, does your console go all the way on the back seat or not?
Just took some shots of mine... Yes, those cupholders come that way... If oyu got the same setup, but dont see the cupholders try looking under the actual armrest when you lift it up... If it has a hole thne u rmissing out, but most likely you will see a cover with 2 round bumps and the word cupholder on them... Sometimes they get stuck up and if they are locked up they wont come down until you unlock them with your fingers... If this is yours, dont feel stupid... Got 2 guys I know who have the smae thing and didnt know they had cupholders!

 

Ah, ok my car doesnt have the armrest box by the e brake. is that suppose to be standard with 93 Si's?
