Well, 1,2,3,5,R Shift fine but I have no 4th. Doesnt grind, just doesnt move into gear. Its like its siezed up. It all started when I couldnt get it in 3rd a while back so I just played with the cables and added a little more fluid and now I have absolutley no 4th and 3 works well. Any suggestions?

 

bad syncro? or maybe you need a new clutch.

 

It doesn't go in with the engine running, or while driving, or doesn't go in at all? Sounds like something wrong inside the tranny. 3rd and 4th are on the same shift fork inside the tranny. If that fork is bent, that could explain why adjusting the cables moved the problem. If you can eliminate the shift cables as a possible problem, then I'd say you have to open the tranny.
