Default 2.2 Cooling System

I swapped a F22 for a H22.
I've still been running the same after market OEM radiator that once cooled my F22.
But it started leaking today. Its been repaired twice already so I wanna chunk it.
Was there a different radiator for the SI than the S?
Should I be able to buy an SI radiator and drop it in - plug n play?
Thanks!

considering that i have seen a number of H22 hybrid civics with that puny D series radiator cooling an h22 your F22 full sized is fine. it will continue to be fine as long as you have everything in working order. If it gets hot in your area and you see the temp gauge go above .5 then you need to check your fluids and if that is not the problem get the system flushed and if that does not work then as a last resort change the radiatior. as long as it does not boil over it is all fine.

I am having a heating issue on my H22 swap in my Accord. It stays normal temp. with normal driving and even an occasional beating. But a lot of the time after I beat on it the temp will start raising to 1/2 +........I do not know what it could be. I replaced the thermostat and the fluids are 50/50 mixed when we did the swap but we DID NOT do a radiator flush. Do you think this could be the problem?Thanks....P.S. sorry for the hijacking

cool - yeah it has been fine so far. I just wanted to upgrade to the SI one if it would drop in without any modifications

It's probably your timing, it may over heat if it is retarded too far.
