so one of your rods flew out? You should tear it apart see if the head is still good, If it is then get a h22 or H23 block, and head haskit and clean out head very good, and out it back together. Or get a new H22 motor.
just my 2 cents

You have to fix the engine block. Obviously something major happened, so you need to find out what it is before you know what needs to be fixed. You sound like you have no clue, so you will have to have someone else fix it and it is going to cost you a lot.
You might consider getting a used JDM engine, they can usually be found for cheaper than a rebuild.

Hmotorsonline is good....and there's some others that I can't think of right now. Google should help, but do research before you buy to make sure they have good customer feedback
I would go with Hmotorsonline, just call them to see what shortblocks they have instock then go from there...or do a rebuild which will most likely cost more if your having a shop put it all together

Labor hours, they should be able to save you some money if you remove entire motor and just drop in a new one. The labour honestly is what kills you most of the time. The motor is usually only a 1000 dollars, but with a shop installing it, its going to be an extra 1000-1500 dollars (hopefully not more than that, if anything maybe less, but they do like to brake things, and than charge you ;saying it was faulty anyway (even though they are suppose to ask you if you'd like it replaced first (and yes I'm speaking from first hand experience lol)
