does anyone know what the wide of a late 80's early 90's zx7? i saw an upper fairing on outlet, and was considering throwing it on my hawk gt. TIA.

Much wider than your NT650, of that I am fairly certain. the Nt is a really narrow bike, the Zx is a really wide bike, but given a will, there is always a way

+1 to what Schu said. I wouldn't be surprised if you had to cut 3" out of the middle to make the fairing fit the hawk.

I would agree that around the tank and over the engine is much wider (inline 4 vs vtwin). But we're talking about the head light area, the triple tree area, etc. I was hoping someone and a 89-90 model, and could do a quick measurement for me.

The frontal area of the old ZX7 is huge. They remind me of a bull dog. Big head, little butt.
