Default switching tail sections??

I'm looking to get a 98 or newer cbr 600, but I dont want the whole one piece seat. Could I change tails and rear seat from a 929 or some thing else? Or, where would I locate a race tail?

As long as you can match the subframe you can do anything to it. Get a copy of a local bike rag for bodywork options. Sharkskinz is very good but expensive....or check the breakers.
