Shift points?
If you want your bike to run like a race bike then drive it like one. All the time.
Your last several posts have been similar to this...just to warn you, mods don't take lightly to this. Post if you have some help to offer...otherwise just hit up the next thread.
hmmm, 2k1 would mean f4i. On my 99 I shift 4-5k on local roads w/ schools around. Traffic usually dictates what gear/rpm I'm in and when there's no traffic its always fun time. For fuel economy you can check out the factory recommendations which are basically the lowest rpm where you'll find yourself in the torque curve in the next gear. Hope that helps, trying to ride in too high a hear at low rpm (bogging) is bad and doesn't help fuel economy. Personally I don't feel bikes really feel right much under 3k.
EDIT: Keep in mind I usually ride twins. It may be b/c they aren't that smooth at slower rpm either.

I'm just having fun man. I don't think I'm hurting anyone. They want help ??? Shift at 4000 to 5000 RPM on that ol' 600 and that should do it.
