My uncle had a 1984 VF700 that I never seen him ride and had been sitting for as long as I can remember. I finally talked him out of it and started restoring it.
Broke it down to the motor/frame + rebuilt the brake calipers w/ steel braided lines + the carbs i sent out to be sonic cleaned + forks rebuilt.






Cleaned out the tanks w/ BBs and vinegar and some Red Coat and new fuel lines+pump+filter


A lil heat wrap under the tank (gas was actually boiling and bubbling through the cap!)



and had it ride-able before the season was over (like a boss)

 

wrapped the exhaust and pulled the mufflers, looking for shorty mufflers or maybe just tips.
Dropped the sissy bar for a more useful handle bar too
