Default pilot powers

Hey Guys,

I want to upgrade the pilot sports on my 954 to the pilot powers. Just wondering if anybody has tried the new pilot power 2cp's yet? Maybe they havent been released to the public yet. I'm pretty sure the pilot powers will be more than i need, but just was wondering if anybody has tried the 2cps yet.

Wheres the best place to order the powers from? Do most of you guys stick with the stock 190 in the back?

TIA

I always liked a 180 for quicker turn in and with street riding, you probably won't run out of tire.

Pilot powers are good enough for street/track. If you want to push your bike at a track, yes 2ct's are excellent because they have the softer side compounds but like I say, Unless you are pro, you don't need 2ct's. I just got a pilot powers and it's coming on friday.. We'll see how it goes..

I've always liked the Bridgestone BT014's. i get them cheap from Chaparral Racing. i dont' seem to have a problem using all of the tire and i've never ridden on a track. Has anyone used both brands of tires? which do you like the best?

BT014s came stock on my bike and they suck. PP is a night and day difference.

I got 2 cts because they were 40 bucks more and when you're riding you never know how low you will have to go.
It's preference but when you're riding on two wheels, it's not worth the sacrifice,
get the 2cts
i paid 265 for one set
120/180 combo for my 600

I put BT014's on my bike, I didn't really like the tire all that much. I ended up taking it off and putting on some PP's. I liked the PP's (not 2CTs) much better.

maybe i'll have to try those next. i liked the BT014's way better than the Dunlop 208's, and they seemed to have good reviews. thanks for the input.

Huh? The 208s are WAY better. You are probably not bringing them up to temperature.

yea but theyll last half as long as powers

powers are fantastic for teh street. Best compromise of stickiness and longevity on the market IMO

That isn't true for 99.9% of riders. Most will still wear the center faster than the sides, so they'll last just as long as PPs.

Maybe your thinking 208 GPA's............anything is better than the D208ZR's though.

yea i was exaggerating a little....anyways i had a friend who had both and the regular powers lasted longer.

Regualr powers are more than enough for the street but i guess if you have the money to spend you cant go wrong
