Default offroad

i was down the local field to day, and as being ENGLAND it's muddy and i fell off, and after a general inspection of the bike it was all cool untill i rode it. the handle bars arn't inline with the front wheel ?? how do i adjust it or have i damaged somethink

If its not too off, I just stand with my feet on either side of the front wheel and yank the bars straight. It helps to have a buddy, and you may have to readjust to get it right where you want. A pipe over the bar ends may help to pull one side of the handle bars straight if they are cocked to one side.

If you feel so inclined you can also loosen the triple clamps and straighten then re tighten to ensure a more square front.

no its no too off. so i need to lossen the triple, re straighten and lock again. is the triple clamp bolts half way down the forks no the two big screws at the top??

sorry i don't know much about bikes just started

It won't be the large two, they will be on the sides holding the forks.

Can you take a pic? looking down the center from above the handlebars?

If the forks look straight in the clamps, it won't do a lot to loosen, its just easier to loosen the wheel and the forks and straighten then clamp everything back down.

British sailors were called "limeys" because they ate a lot of limes. seriously. on long ocean voyages the boats would carry a crapload of limes because they kept well, and are full of vitamin C, which prevents scurvy.
