Default Need help with chain conversion

OK, heres the deal. I plan on converting my YZF1000R from 532 chain to 530 chain. I'm using the denniskirk catalog as my reference for parts.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by denniskirk &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> For 530 conversion use FZR750R '87-'88 Sprockets </TD></TR></TABLE>

My question is which chain length do I buy?

The stock YZF1000 uses 17/46 sprockets and a 532 X 110 chain.
I want to go with the FZR sprockets (47 tooth instead of 42 however) with a 530 chain.

The catalog does list a complete conversion kit for the YZF (80-829) I bought it last year, but it's not right. The rear sprocket is wrong. So this is why I'm buying the stuff seperately.

530 and 532 chain are the same length pin to pin. The side plates on the 532 are just thicker. If you're going up from a 46 to a 47 then the chain might need an extra pair of links compared with stock. Depending on how much adjustment you've got, stock length might work fine though. I switched my gsxr from 532 to 520, and I didnt use any items listed for a gsxr at all. I forget what I ended up using.
