Default help!

well i was buying a bike before but the guy flaked on me. now i have two different bikes that im able to purchase one being a 97cbr600f3 or an 02 sv650s. i need help choosing. never owned a bike before. i like both i just dont know if its worth it to fix the sv650 or if i should get the cbr and try and get it to look stock again

the front of the cbr is streetfighter'd out, unknown mileage, no title

http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/1222530160.html

the sv is cheaper but needs a new rim and ignition, no title

http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/1222954188.html

this is my first bike, help would be greatly appreciated

thanx

I would have said SV, because it's slightly newer and slightly more new rider friendly... but you need to make sure of the repairs before making any purchase.

FYI, I have no idea what needs front rim paint on pass side means

can you just pay off his loan to get the title? i'd be suspicious until you have proof the bike isn't stolen.

Do not buy a bike without title...

I wont go into all the scenarios that could affect your purchase, but suffice to say there are many good used bikes around without that headache.

A bill of sale sale is good for a track bike situation, but not a road bike situation
