Default Clutch problems? help!

I was test riding this bike today an 03 R6 that I'm considering buying but when I let the clutch out slowly the bike shakes/feels like when a car misfires is this a sign the clutch is bad or something?bike has 12k miles also noticed front tire is kind of worn but the owner said it was fine and the tire had plenty of meat how soon do you change clutch and tires and how much does it cost?thanks.

Could be worn clutch and tire may be "cupped".

If yer mecahnically inclined then you can do the clutch yerself for $250 (use factory fibers and steels - always better than aftermarket and you'll need to change the oil and replace the clutch cover gasket too).

Front tires range from $80-200 and installation will run ya from $10-35 depending on where ya take it.
