BIkes With????
Salvaged or rebuildable titles???
Can find alot of bikes for good prices. Some that have been wrecked, and some that have been dropped/slide and need new paint or mirrors... How what this effect a buyer from a different state when trying to register one of these bikes with a title like this?
Have any of you guys purchased bikes like these?
TIA

I have seen/ridden previously wrecked bikes. You have to be careful that there is no unseen damage on these bikes. If you are serious, I would have gmd computrack check the frame/Forks/rims/swingarm to make sure it is in spec and whatnot as well as check for hairline/stress fractures in the aluminum parts (frame/rims etc).
Also check your local dmv for information regarding rebuilt/salvage/cod(certificate of destruction) titles
Some states are strict, some will let you get away with just about anything other than registering stolen property. At minimum you will have to pass a safety inspection. Some states require a builders license to "rebuild" the title.
They are good for racebikes and stuntbikes, but will not hold their value if you try to sell them due to the title status.
