My bike is a 2008 CRF450R not an f, typo.
Just yesterday I rode my bike and gassed it on the road and had the right crankcase crack open on the bottom. Shattered from the bottom engine mount and broke a big chunk on the front, from what I can see the left is perfectly fine haven't torn it apart to see yet won't have time for awhile (please let me know if you know what might have happened).
Basically I was wondering if it would be possible to get a 2008 CRF450X right crankcase to convert a 2008 CRF450R to an electric start. looked at some pics and compared the two cases but the only ones I could find were in different positions and is hard to see any difference.
Will add pick of crankcase later of what happened.
