07 odyssey ...oil & gas?
I bought my wife a 07 Odyssey. I just had some general questions.
1) the CR is 10.1.... that's the same as my gsr and I use 93oct.
Since we bought it, my wife has always used 87oct.
Should she switch to higher octane gas for better mpg?
What does honda reccomend?
2) how much oil does it take?
How do you reset the "oil light or maintance counter" on the electronic dash display?

Honda recommends 87 octane. No idea if you'll get more MPG from higher octane fuels, but any gain likely won't be enough to offset the price difference.
It takes 4.5 quarts of oil with a filter change.
To reset the maintenance light, turn the ignition switch to ON. Press the select/reset **** until the oil life indicator is displayed. Press and hold the select/reset **** for 10 seconds (the display will blink). Release the select/reset **** and press it again, holding it down for 5 seconds (the maintenance codes will disappear and the oil life will reset to 100%).

Re: 07 odyssey ...oil & gas?
Not all Hondas use the same filter. Im 90% sure it is a Fram 6607 filter.
Engine takes 4.5 quarts of oil.
And 93 octane is a waste, over the last 230,000 combined miles between my old 06' work Ody and my current 2010 work Ody i've tried everything and 87 is fine.
