My Fit stays on the road just fine! Take it to the dealer if you have problems...

I never have any problems keeping my car where I want it.

What were you driving before, tractor trailers?

Yep mine is fine as well. It took me about a week to get used to the drive by wire characteristics of the wheel and pedals but now I have to say I actually like the drive by wire. I don't really notice a delay that some say is present.

Maybe it is the Electronic assisted Power Steering the OP is not used to.

I remember the days of my old Integra that did not have this and there is a slight variation in the feedback you get with EPS. It is a very direct feel.

electric power steering is always trippy. for me it feels like the car can't "center" itself well and you're either turning left, or right, never straight. but you just have to get used to it. it's like that on my moms' element and my dads 03 Si. and my wifes new 08 fit.

Yeah, it feels like that for me as well.

OP, what you're feeling is perfectly normal, get used to it.
