We're in the middle of Easter festivities, and my daughter (who's now very late!) just called with multiple dash lights on. I apologize in advance, but I don't have time to search the forum right now for an existing post. After finishing this, I'm off to get her, so we can move the day along.

She tells me that the ABS, Vehicle Stability, and TPMS lights come on immediately on starting. About 30 seconds later, the power steering light comes on. No CE light.

Two questions:
- any idea what it might be?
- can the car be driven 10 miles to the dealer tomorrow?

One mile into the drive to the dealer, all the lights cleared. I agreed with the dealer that we needed some sort of a fault to diagnose, so we monitored. Haven't come on since.

 

Well, the plot thickens. My daughter reports the following:
- drive car around town
- turn off car for about 15-20 min
- upon starting, dash lights on
- after driving for a few minutes, lights clear
- does not seem to happen if car sits all day
- no sign of weak battery, hard starting, sluggish starter, etc

online research suggests fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump - or any combination.

update: might be temperature related. The lights seem to come when the air temp is 80° or more. Tracking...

i've asked her to start a log with very specific notes.
