I found this video that may help. He said the key was so warn it's not setting the cylinder parts. He found that, as a temporary fix, tapping on the key will work. Go to 2:00 in this video:

Have you tried disconnecting the battery, and then tapping on the key? Just in case, it is a combination of an issue with the key cylinder and with the interlock.
Somehow I got it!! After trying everything.. I finally removed the plastic covering around the steering column to see what a job it would be to replace the ignition switch but I was just checking all the plugs and connection's wiggled them a bit and the key came out, I noticed the key was slightly bent so I tapped it straight again, lubed the cylinder now the key is operating properly.. I really have no idea what I changed if anything to get the key out, my guess is one of the wires wasn't making a good connection and me wiggling them a bit worked, or just dumb luck.. Thanks for your help..
Glad your problem is resolved.
There's a lot of slop in the lockwork on our Fits (2nd Gen). This causes wear and eventual lock failure. At least, this is my understanding. Sloppy work on Honda's quality, lamentably. My keys are wearing, and I'm not looking forward to having to replace the ignition.

Yes..Thank you, I'm sure I'll need to replace the switch at some point, those security bolts are what scare me I couldn't even really see them might have to remove the wiper mechanism...
