need help on my 1st Gen CRV
im new to this site and i need a lot of help that i can get.. im a newbie on a CRV too so..please bare with me...
im getting a 2000 cRV manual tranny.. it has 220km..
do i need to put high mileage oil in it? does affect the cars performance?
what are the parts that i can useminto it, my friend told me that i prolly can use some of the 98-00 civic parts..is that right?
please help.. thanks!

no need for high mileage oil
some parts may be able to be used from your civic but minimal
b series parts engine wise is what fits on the crv itself
few things you should immediately check is the valve lash clearance they tend to always get off spec with miles
also the radiator is notorious for cracking at the neck on the crv
but be suspicious ask if the car had the radiator replace and if it reached over heating temps , then again the engine on these cars are cheap , the awd 5 speed trans is what cost alot compared to its engine

what kind of civic parts? like suspentions? struts?

some suspension is interchangeable if you are going lower , but mainly like strut tower bars battery just nic nacks , but brakes is related to type r engine performance from b series
valve lash is the valve clearance to the cams, which is a service you should look into if you hear valvetrain noise
