A/C pressure switch

A/C pressure switch
Hey guys im an A/C tech for years but mostly Commercial and Res.I know systems are basically the same and the understand that but I have a 2002 Honda crv and just replaced comp and conds and filter dryer did a quick charge and leak checked every thing is good.I evacuated to correct microns and recharged with 134a I believe specks said 17 oz everything worked fine till the comp started short cycling and y first thought was low freon then I checked pressures when it was running and press was good with current ambient.
my question is where is the therm switch on these units and is it circuit boarded or ? Thanks

Re: A/C Low Pressure Switch
There is one switch, it is on the high side. If pressure is between 50 and 450 compressor should run. This means the switch never opens in normal operation, only if very low (leak out) or very high (condenser fan failure or overcharged).
Compressor turning on and off rapidly at idle, with the high side pressure in the normal range, could be because the engine is slowing down too much (dirty IACV, etc) so the anti-stall logic in the ECU drops the compressor out. If that is what is happening the compressor will stay on steady when you press the gas slightly.

Re: A/C pressure switch
Thanks for response.I thought about that the rpms of eng and did try giving little gas but no change pressures are in norm.my best guess is a faulty press switch or thermostat switch.I was trying to figure out where that therm switch is located.my guess is most likely at panel under dash for inside ambient temp.poss a circuit board ???
