2000 CRV check engine light and rough running
2000 Honda CRV with 291K miles. I live in the boonies, 150 miles from nearest Honda dealer, so I had an independent repair shop install a rebuilt head from NAPA after they diagnosed it as bad valves and seats.
This was about 4 years ago and it has only been driven about a thousand miles since because the check engine light would come on and it would run rough.
I get codes P1399 and sometimes also PO301 PO302 PO303. All misfire codes.
The spark plugs, wires and distributor cap were recently replaced before the head and valves were replaced. Any ideas what the problem may be? Do you think it just may need the valve clearance adjusted? Thanks for any suggestions.
