took apart tranny..now thorowing code 17
i took apart my tranny yesterday tryin to replace a thorwout brearing..as we finally got the tranny off we noticed that the throwout bearing was fine it wasnt bad at all but for some reason it makes a noise when i press in the clutch..so since that was something stupied we did when we put everything bak together i turned my car on everything ran fine..but only thing is im throwing a code 17 i asked my friend how to fix that and he said he didnt kno so what might i have to do to get that fixed?

Code 17 is VSSI. VSSI is Vehicle speed sensor input. Check that your speedo cable is properly inserted into the transmission, and reset your ECU by Disconnection of the + battery terminal for about 10 minutes with WARM ENGINE.
After restarting, allow the car to run until one full fan cycle, and drive. If your speedometer isn't working, then neither is your VSSI.
