Half-Size radiator in a CRX
installed my half-size three core aluminium radiator using only labour and material at the shop. total cost, 45 dollars for the radiator and the fan.
had to notch the radiator support, but since it bares no structural load, it matters not. no intrusion into the bay as you would get with leaning the unit to fit. i chose to install the fan as a pusher, since i need all i space i can get for the turbocharger assembly. while attempting to test the rotation of the fan i attempted to trigger it via the ECT, it never kicked on, while idling. the new radiator is much more efficient than the stock full size unit.
some photos (first one is my drive to the shop, i always get a kick driving under those tails into the jet wash).
