My New EF Lx Daily
I picked this baby up from the second owner, 160,000 Miles Completly clear title, ZERO accidents, Very Clean (undamaged and complete) interior, 99.9% Stock. Only Had Ugly purple tint and JBL 6"s, and some bumper stickers.
And the best part of the car is EVERYTHING works! Curise Control, Power steering, AC, Radio, Defroster, Windows, Mirrors, EVERYTHING!
It has 3 dents in it so going to clean it up, respray it the stock Blue, drop it on some wheels and drive it. Maybe some HIDS, Crisp Stereo, some strut braces, and a few JDM Hints here and there.
No swaps or anything planned for the near future, it going to be my Clean OEM Daily!

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
Picked up an Alarm for the civic for only $27 BNIB! And I got it 2 days after I bought it!
Got it from PartsAndGo.com. I have seen some cool stuff on there!
Time to do my first alarm install this weekend! Stoked!

I have been driving auto's since i blew up my wagon... It has been painful!
But im back into a 5 speed, so it almost makes up for the slowness of the dual-point

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
Yup, just gonna drop in low, but going to keep a soft a ride as possible.. thinking of using 86 accord struts....
I want this thing to look as it rolled off the showroom floor, with some clean wheels and a few JDM goodies.
Once this motor gets tired then ill throw in ZC.
But im reeeealllly trying to stay away from any swap...
But i do have everything to put in a GSR... Mounts, Axles, Hubs, Linkage, Harness, Ecu, etc.
But im saving that for the wagon... Unless i decide to sell her the wagon

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
How she is sitting for now...
Im half tempted to raise it back up and put the stockies on it.
I really dont like how it looks right now.
I can drop another 1/2 up front and 2 in the back, but then it wont ride for crap.
Added another 20 Hp With my JDM Antenna HAHAHA

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
willing to sell a set of those shock mounts? Looks like a clean start, kinda like mine when I got it, only mine is an EX. Remove the bubbled purple tint, and it'll be golden imo.

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
Yes I do :D Nope, not trading it, took me a while to find one that wasn't stupid ridiculously overpriced. Swooped on mine when I saw it for cheap and clean title.
Talking about the shortened ones you made.

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
Oh! The lower forks!
Haha, ok i was confused. Im thinking somithing on the upper shock tower.... Nevermind
I dont have 2 extra sets of stock's, that i planned on cutting up, trying different ideas to get lower...
Im just not sure how i feel about someone else trusting their life on my welds....
Let me think about it and ill let you know.

Re: My New EF Lx Daily
Got the forks put on, and found out where i needed to trim, also where to improve for the next set.
Looks a lot better, but still not near low enough...
Next step is too cut about .25 off of the fork top, so the strut sits down in deeper.
As long as there are no clearance issue, which i dont think there will be, then that's another quarter lower!
Not sure if there is anything else I can do to the stock stuff without buying shorter struts...
