Default lookin for some opinions

hey all, i just joined, heard about this place from hondasociety, i have a 4g accord right now. i am selling it, and going to buy an EF hatch, pref. 90 si. i have done all kinds of work to civics, way too much if you ask me, bolt-ons=fast to way too many people. what i am wondering is, i am going to do a motor swap obviously, and i want to find some true opinions on my ideas. i have looked around some on here, and get a general idea, but let me know. i want to do an LS motor with some very basic work, prob a slight mill on the head, cams, and maybe a 75 shot later. otherwise, the car will be basically bolt ons the rest of the way. i am a college student, so the budget is a concern, but this car, i want it to be pure fun, i will have my truck to do the bitch work. for the money, simplicity of the motor, and results, the LS seems to be the best bet. good torque, no damn vtec and electronics to mess with, reasonably cheap motor, and good reliablility when i am beating the tar out of it. let me know what ya think. i know about the pounding the frame thing, and the other obvious swap issues (changing harness and hoses and such). btw, what is on the motor that makes the frame need to be modified?

Well it sounds like you have a good idea of what you want to do. Now stop posting and go do it

The the frame is hammered out to make clearance for the alternator pully.

Just take your time and do a lot of research, good luck .

I think you're on the right track. I found a b18a here from a local salvage yard I get parts from for $250 with 80k miles on it. Had it compression tested and leak down tests and came with a start warranty. Put it into a 91 Integra and it started right up and drove perfect.
