Heya, probably a noob question, but i just bought a wrecked Integra 96 GSR, to use as a donor car for my 91 EF Hatch, i really wanna put the GSR seats into the EF. Is that possible? i checked the seats rails and they don't match up (didnt expect em to). So just thought i'd check if anyone knew how to swap them in? cheers

 

Not 100% sure but i think you have to do some sort of pan swap. There are a couple threads on here about how to do it. Everyone says its not hard at all. But post pics when finished man, been wantin go do this myself but hesitant cuz I'm not sure if I'm gonna be sittin to high or something. But good luck

 

i currently tried doing this and it works kinda.

the passenger seat bolts in without having to do a swap but one of the holes wont line up so you'll have to drill or something. the driver side is tricky, i tried bolting it in but it sits really crooked so maybe i did something wrong or i have to swap the pans.

and it doesnt sit terribly high but it its higher then the stock seat. i'm 5'10" and i still have clearance and i dont knock my head up.

i did this swap fairly easy u have to do the pan swap for the fronts, and for the rears mines just sit in their fine the bottom wont bolt in or anything but no one sits back their anyways...looks good btw they sit nice and low very good choice of seats.

 

i bolted mine in without swapping the pans. its a little difficult but it can be worked to fit.

 

not hard at all you will have to make your own holes but looks great front and rear on mine...

 

i bought my car w/ gsr leathers... looks like the previous owner welded some tabs on the seat rails to make them work... i will take pics if you want to see

i used the factory front outside hole (door side) and then on the inside just marked and taped my own hole same with back holes, but on the back had to use some metal spacers to make it look even and not lean to one side.

 

for goodness sake..... what is a pan swap? can someone pleaseeee break that down for me. im retareded. lol

I know this thread is hella old but I came across it while trying the same thing and every thread ive come across has this same issue were it was never answered. I finally decided to do this swap myself and I did it successfully with no welding, drilling, or beating, took about an hr per seat. What I did was pretty easy I just moved the foams and padding off the gsr seats to the ef seat frames added some of the metal spring pieces on the rest were some where worn out, and as for the seat pan cloths I just used some metal 18g fence wire since the hog ties don't line up right. If anyones interested n still struggling I can post pics, it turned out looking super clean.
