EF2-EF3 headlight(JDM sedan) on a UDSM sedan!
I am wondering if the JDM one(One piece headlight) fit the USDM front-end without having to change the whole front clip.
I know, people who who want's to put them on a Hatch or Civic, need's custom body work.
But what about the 4 doors?
Help greatly appreciated.

What kind of custom work would be needed?? I"ve got a '90 Hatch lined up to buy and I really dig the one piece headlamps....

the same with 4 doors you really have to force them in to get them to fit and cut away some of the bumper i believe?
anyway the people i've talked to who actually took the time to get in said they regret it cause they just don't fit right.

ahh my brother has done this to his car. it took a lil custom work but not too much... he used the JDM hood, fenders, and headlights. he had to make these brackets for the headlights (which mounts them out a lil farther forward) but they meet up perfect with the hood and fenders. he had to install hood pins because it cant lock down with the stock hood latch. he used a 91 crx bumper and it doesnt line up perfect with the headlights since they are a lil farther out but it myte line up straight if u use the jdm bumper... he also had to do some wiring for the sidemarkers (if ur gonna be using those), and i think it was something with the headlight wiring... like the Low and High beams are on the same bulb. i'll try to get pix of how he did it all if u'd like so u can see. good luck guys and if u want more info just holla!
I had the hood, fenders, and bumper on before I went ahead and converted with the proper radiator support. I had made some small brackets out of some 1/16" matal stock that was about 1-1/2" wide. All they were is a little shard of metal with a hole on each end. One hole bolted down though the light and the other hole bolted to the radiator support.
You WILL have to cut into the USDM hood to allow the wider one-piece headlight to fit.
The clips for the corner lamp should also be swapped out. The one piece headlight has two plastic rods that slide into round holes on the correct fender clips. USDM ones are sqaure holes from what I remember.
The contour of the USDM fender may also need some body work where the corner is. I think the contour of the light is diffrent there.

Actually,my 4 doors is my beater but I saw yesterday some one piece headlight on ebay.
I was going to bought them, just to be different....but since it will not bolt-on,I'll just let someone else buy them.
Thanks for all!
