Won contest
I just thought that I would share this with everyone. In pittsburgh we have this radio station called kiss fm. They were doing this contest called freak my ride. It's like pimp my ride, except without the gayness. I took my car in to get worked on and I thought that I would have no say in what they put on the car. I still don't but they asked me what I liked and the first thing I said was the paint job. I like a solid color, and also I hate big rims. I would like to roll on some 15's nothing bigger than 16's. They are a stereo place so they do alot of custom stereo installs. If you want to check out the website it's http://www.teamnutztechnology.com. This probably isn't the place to post it, but I'm always in here more than anywhere else on the forum so I put it here.

That's awesome man, so they are gonna deck out your rex a bit for you then for free? Very nice, wish my town would throw something like that around!

Unfortunately they aren't doing any mechanical work. Strictly cosmetic. In pittsburgh it's nothing but hills. I went up this one and thought I was giong to die cause the little d15 couldn't. I will do I write up on what they did and what they changed. Most of the car will be changed so it will be a long list. Also I don't know how to post any pics. Some help would be nice. Thanks

all of the meets are on sat. and I have church in the morning until 1. I would love to get the SiR conversion, but I had no say in what they do. All I could do is suggest. Also don't say that your going to get a pink car with pink fussy seats and dice cause I already talked to the guys and it's not going to happen. For the other local guy the car is going to be showcased at import fusion aug 14 at station square. It's from 4-11.

Re: Won contest (APEX CRX)
Congrats! Can't wait to see the final outcome. Hopefully these guys have some sense and do a clean job and don't go all crazy with some lambo doors and stuff. Make sure you take a lot of pics and keep us updated.
And from the sounds of it you gave them quite a challenge with the shape your car was in. You weren't driving it with broken head/taillights were you?

I didn't have a broken headlight or a broken tail light. The spots on the side they did themselves with a sander. Then the stereo i put back in there was crap. I love music and I hated driving the car to the shop listenin to that crap. I had some decent speakers in the car and I wanted better so I threw the orginal crap back in there. I also didn't have a flat tire. I'm just hoping that they just let the air out and didn't cut the tire cause I'm not sure if firestone will cover that under road hazard.

The car didn't look as bad in the picture. They went to work on the body. I would post some pictures of what the car looked like before they got it, but I don't know how to post pictures. If anyone could help thanks
