brake line tuck
so I am going to pull my motor this weekend because im painting my bay, and I already have a wire tuck that i did to my 88 dx hatch with a b16. The brake line tuck looks easy, the only question i have is does the prop valve ( i have a DA valve since i have DA front brakes and rear brakes and Brake Booster and Master cylinder) have to be mounted some where specific in respect to brakes? example: does the prop valve have to be above the brake assembly? below master cylinder? or can it simply be mounted any where you would like? help would be appreciated, does any one know where i can find pics done on an ef?

OP. check one of the more recent threads by fabmaster, he is going all the way with the tuck, it seems he knows his stuff: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...2756264&page=1
And to answer your question - with such small change in mounting heights, and lengths of brake line sections I doubt it really matters where you move the stuff, that's what you bleed the brakes for. Well, someone can maybe prove me wrong.

In the shaved, tucked, etc. thread i have seen prop valves mounted inside the car behind the dashboard, and like Radex said, its a hydraulic system so as long as its bled properly you should be good

learn the hard way then knuckle head..
There is no doubt in my mind that when dealing with the brake lines - there is only one way of doing them - properly - but that predominantly refers to not making kinks in the line, crushing the line, or not flaring properly thus not sealing well; and that is all that comes to my mind right now. I can only hope that OP realizes that with butchered brake job - his life is at stake. Else, he will pay you, or someone like you, to fix it or to do it right.
Heck, I took everything out of my engine bay but brake lines I will not touch. For now.

i do believe on this 88 honda the brake lines already run inside the car...under the carpet...from the factory
