i know that 91 crx si seats won't directly bolt into my 90 civic dx. what have people do to get it to work? any way to remove the rail from the dx seat and put in on the si seat? i'd need help on this soon.

 

i am not 100% sure, but you take off the rails off your civic seats and put them on the CRX seats, and your good to go.

 

unfortunately, the rails are not the same. the 90 civic rails have holes on the front and back of the right rail. the 91 crx seats have a hole on the front, then hole off to the side in the back. it is definitely NOT a direct bolt in.

my civic dx rails are tack welded into place. has anyone cut them off, drilled new holes, then mounted them to si seats?

 

well i had a dx civic and put 91 civic si seats in , the bolt paterns are diffrent , only to bolts lined up the front left rail bolt and yhe right rear rail bolt , so i bolted them up and got a drill and made a special home depot bracket so 3 bolts were lined up the seat was in good so i didnt bother doing up the 4 and final bolt , it can be done , not the easiest of things to do , but si seats are recoros and dx seats are crap (sorry dx owners i ust to own those seats )

 

CRX DX seats are almost the same as the Si seats, except for the stitching and the hole in the headrest....

 

i know, but the civic dx seats suck and are nothing like the crx seats. i'm trying to put crx seats into my civic hatch.
