transfer case question
Is the transfer case a 1to1 ratio? i did some searching and found that 97-01 crv awd trans is 4.562 and the rear end diff is 2.533. Can some one explain why this is or correct me?
the rear overdrives versus the front wheels. its more of a rear wheel assist than a 4 wheel drive. basically when the front tires loose traction the rear diff transfers oil pressure to the rear clutch pump. this enables the rear wheels causing them to push the crv ahead untill the front regains traction. i might be slightly off on a few minor details but i beleive the jist to be correct. i would appreciate some rt4wd specialists to chime in and correct me if im wrong

i know that but i'm planning on pushing no more that 350hp. There's was pushing 650hp. Right now with a stock b20 running 7psi and a b16 lsd trans, the car has no traction 1-3 gear and forth it jerks from wheel spin. In stead of buying 1400 dallor coilovers and a 350dallor traction bar and slicks at 250 a tire. I can get a trans to the rear diff for no more than 1500 and a little time.
I found what i need. the transfer case is just under 2:1 ratio.
