right pull
2006 awd crv . put new KYB strut plus on, had it aligned. Daughter is saying it pulls right. when driving the steering wheel has to be turned left to go straight. IF she lets go of the wheel, it goes right. I thought KYB had fixed their spring clock issue based on what Honda did to correct this issue? tires are brand new with correct pressures. could this just be a bad alignment?
KYB got ahold of me and after reviewing the TSB from 2005, they struts are assembled correctly. I believe this is a crappy alignment from Goodyear. had -.05 camber on driver and +.05 camber on passenger. This will naturally want to pull to the positive side. I also noticed the steering wheel is not straight when driving straight. I adjusted the rod ends equally as best I could to see if it helped the pull and it did. It tracks much better now. I am taking it to the dealer for a new alignment and will make sure I let them know this has been done once already and perhaps they should test drive it before giving it back. Goodyear never drove the vehicle after the alignment.
