Bought an AWD 1998 Manual Crv LX yesterday 5/30/25. Previous owner said the transmission was replaced at one point. During the test drive it drove okay for a 240k mile, 27 year old car. Usual Honda grind in 1st sometimes and sometimes 5th. Also threw itself out of 5th, which was a red flag but didnt happen till title was signed over. Today I drove it for maybe 30 minutes, mainly highway and when I got to my location, I tried to put it in reverse but it would not go in so I thought maybe some transmission fluid would help. Poured maybe half the bottle in and it all leaked out somewhere. I cant tell where the leak is from. Its really a bummer, any leads or information would be much appreciated.
