Default Electrical Weirdity

I've enjoyed over 160,000 trouble-free miles in my 2009 CR-V 2WD LX, until this week. Independently, the entire dash will shut off, or the radio will shut off (including needles going to zero) or the engine will shut off. These don't happen together. These are independent events that happen randomly every 5 minutes or so and last for just a short period of time. Any ideas or history on the cause of this type of behavior? Thanks,

I found a small amount of corrosion on the battery terminals. After cleaning, I've driven about 200 miles without incident (maybe 20 different trips), so I believe the problem is solved. If I'm wrong I'll report back. Hope this helps someone!

Nice...

Corrosion in all forms... (whether ferrous metal rust, battery terminal nastiness, bubbly coating on aluminum wheels, or otherwise) is a pain...

Thanks for the follow up!

You're welcome! And at 500 miles now, I'm considering this to be a definite fix. Computers just don't like fluctuating power! -Bob
