Default Cold air flow

I have a 04 CRV with the 4 cyl engine. will adding a K&N cold air filter help the MPG while adding a little more zip. My primary improvement would be better MPG.

Cold air intakes threads always make for a um, "interesting", read. Its all opinionated, as there are not to many real scientific tests on the matter. Some people claim they get 2 more MPG, others get nothing. I guess it all depends on your particular set up.

Usually the only time a cold air intake make sense to use is if it is a supporting mod to other engine/exhaust upgrades. As stated before, its usefulness is questionable when just installed by itself.
