Default 98 Auto Trans Issues

My daughter used the wife's crv yesterday, when she brought it back she said she was driving along and the "front end started shaking and the speedo stopped working". This morning I went out to take it for a ride and the trans is slipping in all gears to the point that the rig won't move.
Engine light was on so I pulled the codes which were 501 vehicle speed sensor range/performance problem and 108 manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit high voltage. Are these two related? and where do I go from here?
It has 182K on it.

Check the connections for corosion MAP sensor is on the throttle body and the VSS in near the fire on the tranny itself.

I took closer look at the car after work, when I leaned on the car to look under the hood it started to roll even though it was in park. It turned out the left front halfshaft inboard cv joint gave out. That explains 501.
