2007 CRV Pulling - HELP
I recently purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V. I had new tires put on the front and the vehicle aligned. It is still pulling and to both sides. It seems to be dominant to the left but then all of a sudden it'll switch to the right.
Is this the dreaded castor alignment issue (mentioned in a 2005 Bulletin) or ??? I'm being told by a local shop that if it is the castor issue that the parts will need to be replaced as they are rusty and will not be able to go back on once taken off. That equates to almost $3000. The dealership is telling me it's a power steering issue and the rack needs to be replaced (What?! I have no burning oil smell, difficulty steering, or noise.). That's $2500 I believe. I am broke after buying this vehicle and not sure how to proceed. Anyone have any insight?

Sounds like a rack issue ... my tsx did did something similar... racks are around 300-350 rebuilt ... labor is 4-5 hours ... should be under a 1000.00 to do The Whole repair
