Default Vibrating... help?

Ever since I had my engine swaped I have had a rattling comming from under the car. The dealership said that it was just my heat shield and that they would fix it. Everytime I bring it to them they say the fixed it but as soon as i drive away it starts up again. It only happens when im holding steady at 2,300rpm's and it doesnt sound like its coming from the heat shield. The sound is comming from under the car.. Im tired of bringing it to the dealer since all they do is gimme ****... any ideas as to what it is... ohh and the dealership is Sherwood Honda.. delray beach Fl. just in case your wondering.

mine does the same and i thought it would be a heat shield too...it only seems like mine does it when I am like in low rpm's or going up a hill and mashing the gas... how hard is that heat shield to take off...did your's vibrate like during the same type acceleration??

really frickin annoying isn't it...
same thing happened to me. after removing/fiddling with all the heat shields I took it to a muffler shop, they said the stock cat was blown to hell (actually beginning to fall apart). Might be the same thing for you.....

I have the same problem too. if its not the heat shield try retarting your timing a little and see what happens. i have a very high compression civic and i have to drive retard to use 91 octane unless i get racing gas and i can advance it. try using nos octane booster and 91 octane with it and see what happens. if it solves it then you might have to retard your timing just enough to stop the noise. detotnation is probaly what happening
